I make interfaces feel alive — through motion that's purposeful, not decorative.

Kreukvrij is the Amsterdam motion design studio of Olaf Gremie, founded in 2007. With a background in graphic design and a conceptual eye, I lead projects from first idea to final delivery: concept, art direction, design and animation, with a high standard of production.

Over the years I have worked for brands and broadcasters including Disney, Vodafone, O2, Virgin Media, Ziggo, KLM, Liberty Global, NPO 3FM and ING. Highlights include complete on-air design packages for Disney XD, one of which won Bronze at Eyes & Ears 2017, and the Spark! film for Liberty Global, which won Gold at PromaxBDA Europe 2017.

Since 2019 I have also been creating display animation for Jersey Jack Pinball, as Lead Animator on Elton John and Harry Potter, which won Best Animations at the 2025 TWIPY Pinball Awards. More about that work at olafgremie.com.
